Private work with Sassy Smith
For those who want to work directly with the person who trains the coaches and therapists.
Sassy works with a small number of private clients at any one time, alongside her work training professionals through Aphantasia Academy.

The person the coaches learn from
Sassy is a qualified coach with more than thirty years of experience and a member of EMCC UK. She is also the person who trains other coaches, therapists and counsellors to work with invisible cognitive differences, through Aphantasia Academy.
She lives with all five herself: multisensory aphantasia, SDAM, anauralia, anendophasia and alexithymia. The adaptations aren't theoretical, and you won't be the first person she has coached who cannot picture anything.
You won't spend the early sessions explaining how your mind works. That part is already understood, which leaves the whole of the time for what you actually came to work on.
She is the author of Unseen Minds. Seven of the ten therapists currently listing aphantasia as a specialism on Counselling Directory trained with the Academy.

By enquiry, and by fit
You get in touch
Tell Sassy briefly what you'd like to work on. There's no need to explain your cognitive profile, though you're welcome to.
A conversation
An unhurried conversation to establish whether working together is the right fit. If it isn't, Sassy will say so and point you somewhere better.
The work
Arranged around what you've come for, and running over months rather than a set number of sessions.
Availability is limited and depends on current commitments. Sassy takes on new private clients only occasionally.
If you're looking for someone who really understands you and how your brain works, then Sassy is exactly who you need.Harriet Challis, Photographer
